The Project
Refurbishment of a warehouse building to provide office accommodation, lunch room, meeting room, toilets, archive room and storage spaces.
Construction of a covered truck loading dock including creation of roller door opening to warehouse and loading dock leveller, sunken into the loading dock slab.
External works to include installation of security screens to ground floor windows and provision of disabled access ramp to front entry.
Widening of the crossover to enable trucks to enter the site. Provision of line marking to existing concrete paved area to create car park.
New fencing, concrete pathways and concrete paving and create new controlled access into adjoining property.
Provision of new security controlled sliding vehicle access gate, rainwater harvesting system and tank and landscaping works.
Main warehouse facility to be painted, new epoxy floor coating, CBUS lighting system and sprinkler system fire protection upgrade. The construction programme was brought in on budget and within the strict time frame of 4 months with the inclusion of client generated variations.
