The Flowerdale Children’s Hub was a DEECD project. The project consisted of a new construction of the Children’s Hub, which included areas for kindergarten, maternal health, principal’s office, multipurpose hall, new basketball court and civil works.
The building has a colorbond façade & roof sheeting in “City Perl”. Due to where the Flowerdale Children’s Hub is situated, the building had a BAL 19 rating which required us to implement different building materials to achieve this rating.
A Ruberoc bike track was installed in the play-yard of the kindergarten. This bike track enclosed a sand pit and soft fall play area.
J.R. & B.L Kendall Pty Ltd give our upmost efforts to add value to each and every project that we are involved in. Some of the value added variations with no added cost to the client were:
- Turf was installed to remaining area of the yard
- Additional concrete paving for pathways
- Additional footings to buildings
- Additional concrete upstand wall
- Reconfiguration of internal walls & additional aluminium glazed doors
J.R & B.L Kendall Pty Ltd contributed approximately $30,000 to the project in value adding variations.
